Colley advanced 11 positions to claim the Markwest Ranger Pipeline Hard Charger Award.

In the Giovanni’s Pizza Late Model A-Main, R.J. Conley cruised to his first PRP victory of the season leading every lap and winning by a convincing margin, but from second on back the racing was quite competitive.

Stephen Breeding, Kenny Christy, Delmas Conley, and Shannon Thornsberry rounded out the top 5. The rest of the top 10 consisted of Nick Bocook, Kenny Howell, Robbie Lewis, Josh Bocook, and Avery Taylor.

Brian Sammons, Jr. put forth a dominant effort in the Sport Mods, but his win didn’t come without a little drama. In Turn 4 on the final lap, he and a lapped car got together hard but Sammons was able to straighten out his car and make it to the finish line for his first PRP win.

The rest of the top 10 consisted of Emily Jordan, Eric Dennison, Jimmy “Showtime” Spillman, Keith Shanks, Danny Hamilton, Jr., George Caldwell, Eric Wade, Evyian Terry, and Jeremy Brady.

Zack Pendleton held off his father, Shane, to win the M & M Inflatables Bomber A-Main. For the younger Pendleton, it was his first PRP win of the season. Rick Butler, Wayne Hughes, Matthew McClain, Joey Clark, Mike Drake, David Skaggs, David Whitt, and Bo McCarty rounded out the top 10.

Portsmouth Raceway Park ran a pair of O’Reilly Auto Parts Limited Late Model A-Mains Saturday night. The first was a makeup race from Memorial Day Weekend that got rained out. The second was a part of this past Saturday’s regular card.

Cameron Logan had a big night. In the first Limited Late Model A-Main, he captured his first-ever PRP Feature win in holding off reigning track champ Mike Meyers. Ronnie Whitt, Evyian Terry, Jacob Curnutte, Joe Whitt, Chris Lockhart, Duane Pick, Randy Ross, and John Melvin made up the rest of the top 10.

Mike Meyers won the second feature, as held off Evyian Terry to take the victory. The rest of the top 10 was comprised of Cameron Logan, Kevin Terry, Vincent Bender, Randy Ross, Chris Lockhart, John Melvin, Ronnie Whitt, and Nathan Martin.
