With April being Alcohol Awareness Month, Spectrum Outreach Services is hosting a community event from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday.
“We’re doing a little celebration for all the people we’ve been able to treat for Alcohol Awareness Month,” Kathy Ross, Spectrum Outreach Services site manager, said. “We’re inviting the community. There will be free educational materials on drugs and alcohol and the public will have a chance to see our facility.”
Hot dogs will also be served and anyone over 18 will have an opportunity to fill out a five-question survey to be entered to win a four-pack of King’s Island tickets and a free parking pass.
Spectrum Outreach Services is located at 214 S. Fourth St. in Ironton.
