James Michael Turley, 49, of Ironton passed away Thursday Sept. 30, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Lawrence County native was born Dec. 12, 1960, the son of James E. Turley Jr. of South Point and the late Elizabeth Cochran Turley.

Mike was a graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School and member of Mamre Baptist Church in Kitts Hill. He was also a member of the Ironton Moose Lodge #701 and the Ashland Eagles.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a brother Darrell Turley.

In addition to his father he is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Kelly Turley of Ironton; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Terri Turley of Durham, N.C.; fiancée, Sandy Webb of Ironton; and stepmother, Emma Turley of South Point.
