Gary Hostetter

Sept. 23, 1939—Oct. 17, 2015

Gary Olen Hostetter, 76, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at his residence. The Tuppers Plains native was born Sept., 23, 1939, a son of the late Olen Dewy Hostetter and Mary Francis Bahr Hostetter. Gary was a park ranger at Forked Run State Park for over 20 years and a member of Hanging Rock Apostolic Church of God. He loved spending time in the outdoors, and was a devoted father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Oneta Loise Hostetter Hoelscher, Sandra June Hostetter Gillespie, and Gloria Dee Hostetter Delawder; and a brother, Dennis Sheradian Hostetter.

He is survived by daughters, Cassie (Josh) Hostetter Turvey, of Ironton and Tracy Hostetter, of Worthington, Kentucky; son: Josh (Italy) Bailey, of Greenup, Kentucky; grandson, Presley Bailey, of Greenup, Kentucky; sister, Yvonne Cardosi, of Springfield; sister, Kathy Hostetter, of Springfield; brother, Clifford Young, of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home with elder Glenn Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home, with burial following at Hanging Rock Cemetery.  Donald Frazee

Sept. 19, 1942— Oct. 17, 2015

Donald E. Frazee, 73, of Ironton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. Mr. Frazee was born Sept. 19, 1942 in Ironton, a son to the late Russell and Helen (Remy) Frazee. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Ann Rawlins Frazee, whom he married Oct. 20, 1961.

Mr. Frazee was a 1961 graduate of Ironton High School. He was a steel worker for AK Steel, retiring after 40 years of service in 2003. He was a member of Zoar Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Stephen Frazee, of Ironton; a daughter, Debra Frazee of Ironton; two granddaughters, Julia Ann Frazee and Adelia Helen Frazee, both of Ironton; two brothers, Tom (Claudia) Frazee, of Ironton and Bill (Dana) Frazee, of South Point; mother-in-law, Myrtle Rawlins, of Wheelersburg; three sister-in-laws, Delores (Bill) Ruth, of New Richmond, Rosemary (Emerson) Richmond, of Chillicothe and Beverly (Greg) Thompson, of Wheelersburg; five brother-in-laws, Wayne (Sharon) Rawlins, of Wheelersburg, Tom (Kay) Rawlins, of Wheelersburg, David (Sally) Rawlins, of Oak Hill, Don (Salli) Rawlins, of Liberty Township and Forrest (Debbie) Rawlins, of Wheelersburg.

Funeral services will be noon p.m. Thursday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Beals officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and friends may visit Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  George Hudson

April 14, 1935—Oct. 18, 2015

George F. Hudson, 80, of Kitts Hill, passed away Sunday Oct. 18, 2015, at his daughter’s home with his family at his side.

He was born April 14, 1935, a son of the late George Hudson Senior and the late Rossalee McElory Hudson. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a welder by trade and a loving father.

He was preceded in death by his exwife, Deanna M. Hudson; and two sons, Joseph and Robert Hudson.

Among those left to mourn his passing are his three daughters, Danielle Horner and her husband Chuck, Debbie Ilderton and her husband John, Carol Calton (Charles Legg),all of Kitts Hill; a son, Michael C. Hudson, of Sarasota; five grandchildren, Jessica (Marcus) Calton, Ashley Calton, BJ, Shayla and Nicholas Hurn, Loren Horner, Jerimiah Hudson; two great-grandsons, Draevyn Murphy Braylen Wilson; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the Brown Funeral chapel with Brother Lloyd Wilson officiating where military rites will be presented. George will be laid to rest next to his son in the Fradd Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
