CHESAPEAKE —Locals can get their fill of pancakes on Saturday, Oct. 31 when the Chesapeake-Rome Lions Club hosts its annual pancake breakfast at Chesapeake Elementary School.
“We serve the pancakes right from the grill,” said Bob Smith, Lion’s Club member. “We always serve up pancakes and sausage.”
Drinks will be provided in addition to the pancakes and sausage prepared by Lions Club members.
The pancake breakfast is the club’s way to raise funds to give to community organizations and charitable causes that it supports.
In the past, the club has sponsored local school track meets and raises funds to provide local children with eyeglasses.
The pancake breakfast will be from 8-11 a.m. The cost is $5 for adults with discounts available if tickets are purchased in advance from Lions Club members.
Ticket cost is $2.50 for children 12 and under.
