Unruly child – Township Road 219, Chesapeake Sunday, 15-year-old girl ran away from home.

Shots fired near school – 100 block of County Road 411, Proctorville Monday – woman fired handgun to scare prowlers, lives near school. Suspect named.

Domestic violence – Township Road 1063 South Point, Saturday – man grabbed woman by throat, threw her on the floor. Suspect named.

Telephone harassment – 500 block of County Road 7 Ironton, man calling woman for the past month making crude comments about having sex with her. Suspect named.

Domestic violence – 1500 block of County Rd. 1, South Point, Saturday, man threatened woman because she dropped a picture. Suspect named.

Domestic violence/ juvenile offenses – Township Road 1504, South Point, juvenile threatened to kill mother, grabbed her by the arm when she woke him up for church. Juvenile arrested and taken to group home.

Assault — 1000 block of County Road 1, South Point, man punched another man in the eye. Suspect named.

Domestic violence – man screaming and cursing at girlfriend. Craig D. Mays, 48, of 24833 Montana Avenue, Hurricane, W.Va., arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic Violence – 500 block of county Road 119 Ironton, Saturday, woman broke dishes, refused to clean it up, kicked the bathroom door and put a hole in it. Crystal M. Hensley, 23, of 582 County Road 119, Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Breaking and Entering – 16600 block of State Route 243, Chesapeake, Saturday, residence broken into, suspects named.

Menacing – 7500 block of County Road 1, South Point, Thursday, man threatened to kill another man, accused him of sleeping with his wife. Michael W. Smith, 32, of 510 County Road 144, South Point, arrested.

Ironton Police

Domestic – 1100 block of South Fourth Street, 2:58 p.m. Saturday, caller requests help with 25-year-old grandson.

Fraud — 3 p.m. Saturday no location given, caller with local number called woman and pretended to be Publisher’s Clearing House. Filed info for report.

Stolen tag – IHS 7 p.m. Saturday, front plates taken from vehicle, info logged for report.

Theft – 8:16 pm woman took pills and cash, went to Marlow. Subject declined to press charges.

Prowlers — 1900 block of Liberty Avenue 8:45 p.m. Saturday, caller heard noises around house. Negative contact.

Theft – 8:48 p.m. 1100 block of South Third Street Saturday, man’s 25-year-old grandson took cash and pills when he was sent away earlier.

Loud Music – Fuzzy Duck 11:52 p.m. Saturday, music up so loud caller cant sleep. The band was inside and the door was shut.

Kids outside yelling —11:58 p.m. Saturday, bunch of kids yelling and cursing at cars. Notified parents to put them inside for the night.

Gun shots — Cliff Street 12:21 p.m. – caller woke up and heard gunshots, checked area, didn’t hear anything.

Shoplifter – Pick’N Save 12:33 a.m. shoplifter stole toothbrushes, left in vehicle.

Fight – Bunch of people outside fighting, spoke with subject and no one wants to press charges.

Theft – 2000 block of S. Fourth Street, 10:26 a.m. car broken into in alley.

Missing juvenile — 14-year-old daughter reported missing. Girl returned home.

Theft – 1000 block of Pleasant Street 4:29 p.m., $40 taken from purse.

Breaking and entering – 900 block of S. Fifth Street, 5:30 a.m., someone broke into building, got info for partial report.

Theft – someone stole money, 9:58 am. Monday – left station before making report.

Stolen Bike — 11 p.m. Bryant Group Home, red 10-speed bike taken.

Breaking and entering – 1100 block of S. Fourth Street 12:51 p.m., house broken into.
