Burglary, possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments — 1500 block County Road 1, South Point, June 24, man alleged ex-girlfriend broke into his home and stole is Xbox; surveillance from across the street allegedly showed the burglary; woman allegedly admitted to the crime and was in possession of pills and syringes;

Francis Owens, 36, of 11350 County Road 1 Apt. A, Chesapeake, arrested.

Domestic violence — 2700 block County Road 70, Proctorville, June 26, woman alleged her mother’s foster child punched, kicked and bit her; juvenile taken to group home.

Petty theft — 3600 block County Road 210, Waterloo, June 24, 280 feet of wire taken.

Breaking and entering — 300 block County Road 410, South Point, June 27, Petland broken into; safe containing $1,352 taken from office.

Grand theft — 2100 block County Road 411, Proctorville, June 26, handgun taken from truck.

Burglary — 300 block Township Road 93 S., South Point, Xanax taken from residence.

Petty theft, breaking and entering — 90 block Township Road 1213, Chesapeake, June 28, welders, chop saw, plasma cutter taken from garage.

Theft — A private drive off Township Road 268, Ironton, June 27, tires and rims taken off parked truck.

Criminal damaging, burglary — 1000 block County Road 1, South Point, June 28, woman reported unknown male trying to force her apartment door open and yelling for her to let him in; suspect left and damaged flower bed and items in garden.

Petty theft — 60 block Township Road 1503, Chesapeake, June 27, gun taken.

Vandalism — 3700 block County Road 19, Kitts Hill, unknown suspect kicked in glass door while homeowner was home; suspect ran away.

Domestic violence — 1000 block County Road 21, Chesapeake, June 24, woman alleged son threw her to the floor, kicked and punched her and twisted her neck and arms; negative contact with suspect.

Theft — 200 block State Route 217, Kitts Hill, June 26, checks stolen and used; suspect named.

Domestic violence — A private road off State Route 7, Proctorville, June 28, man alleged brothers threatened him with a pipe; Robert Combs, 52, of 303 Rivers Drive, Maysville, Kentucky, and Daniel Combs, 45, arrested.
