Theft — 300 block Township Road 372, Ironton, April 9, $200,000 worth of jewelry taken from residence, including a Rolex valued at $6,500, A diamond ring valued at $3,000, Cartier diamond earrings valued at $14,800, 4 karat diamond studs valued at $32,500 and a platinum solitary 5 karat diamond ring valued at $150,000; a supplement to this report was added stating the victims found their items and a kitchen drawer and are certain they did not put them there.
Burglary — 70 block Township Road 1010, Chesapeake, April 10, woman reported grandson allegedly broke into her home while she was sleeping; Michael R. Hayes, 31, of 808 County Road 123, Chesapeake, arrested.
Endangering children — Grandview Inn parking lot, April 11, 12-year-old child allegedly left alone in vehicle by grandfather; Charles North, 53, of 91 Graham St., Bidwell, cited to court.
Disorderly conduct — 2000 block State Route 243, Ironton, officers responding to alarm call arrested man with several active warrants; suspect allegedly began hitting his head against inside of cruiser several times; William Pennington, 51, of 2033 State Route 243, Ironton, arrested.

Domestic violence — 300 block Township Road 297, Ironton, April 12, woman reported live-in boyfriend broke her ring finger; Brent Goody, 35, of the same address, arrested.
Domestic violence — 100 block Township Road 74, Willow Wood, April 12, woman alleged granddaughter throwing things in the house and threatened to kill herself; juvenile taken to group home.
Theft — 300 block Township Road 1026, South Point, April 13, Gibson Les Paul guitar valued at $2,800 stolen.
Cruelty to animals, having weapons under a disability — 900 block Township Road 150, Pedro, April 14, man reported neighbor shot his cat and it had to be put down; deputy found after leaving the scene that suspect had a prior felony conviction of violence which would make owning a firearm illegal.
Theft — 70 block Township Road 1031, South Point, April 14, tablet stolen from residence.
