Health department offering clinics for immunizations

The Lawrence County Health Department will offer monthly immunization clinics at the following locations and times in 2015:
• The Lawrence County Health Department — From 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month;
• The Early Childhood Center — From 1-3 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month; and
• The Chesapeake WIC office — From 1-3 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.
These clinics are for all ages from newborn through adult. Children 18 and younger will need to bring his or her medical card and a copy of the most recent shot record if available.
For those children who do not have Medicaid, the immunizations are $10 each.
Immunizations that are offered for adults at these clinics are flu, pneumonia, hepatitis B, and Tdap. It is best to call to check availability and cost of vaccines for adult vaccines, prior to coming to clinic.
