MICHAEL GILMORE

Michael David Gilmore, 56, of Winterville, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008.
He as a native of Ironton, Ohio and attended Ironton City Schools. He was employed for 19 years by Control Blasting, Inc., of Norcross, Ga.
Preceding him in death was his father, David Gilmore Jr., a brother, Robert Gilmore, paternal grandparents, David and Mary Gilmore and maternal grandparents, William and Gladys Anthony.
He is survived by is wife, Jeane Mander Gilmore of Winterville; his mother, Marie Anthony Gilmore, of Ironton; a daughter, Summer Gilmore and two grandsons of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by sisters Patricia Reeder, of Roswell, Ga., and Mary Lou Roach, of Ironton; brothers William Gilmore, of Ironton, and Brian Gilmore of Minneapolis,Minn. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside service will be at the convenience of the family at Woodland Cemetery in Ironton. Arrangements are under the direction of Bridges Funeral Home in Athens, Ga.
