IPD makes arrest in city garage break-in

Ironton Police have arrested a man for charges relating to a break-in at the city garage.
William R. Eastham, a 27-year-old from Ironton, was arrested Monday, Jan. 25 in connection with the break-in.
Workers from the Ironton Municipal Garage discovered Monday that it had been broken into at some point during the weekend.
Windows had been broken, doors were damaged and several tools were taken.
At the time of his arrest, Eastham had another warrant in connection with a break-in at the Lawrence County garage that occurred Jan. 19.
Chief Jim Carey said more suspects are being sought in connection with both break-ins.
