HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Cathy Marie McGlone, 48, of Huntington, formerly of South Point, Ohio died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky., following a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 5, 1960, a daughter of the late Rita Ann Carucci and William D. Barker of South Point.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Davis of South Point; two sons, John McGlone and his wife Tammy, and Kenneth Barker and his fiancée Yelah Sharp, all of Huntington; a daughter, Stephanie McGlone also of Huntington; three brothers, Joseph Barker and his wife Cathy of Ironton, Ohio, David Barker and his wife Michelle, of South Point, and James Barker and his wife Chantelle of Florida; two sisters, Rose Combs of South Point, and Tina Mullins and her husband Bobby of Grayson, Ky., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Wednesday at The Brown Funeral Chapel with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Hecla Cemetery where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 9 – 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Memorial donations should be made directly to the funeral chapel to help the family with funeral expenses.
