PEDRO — Campbell Chapel’s Backpack Buddies program is giving the community a chance to “Be a Buddy” at tonight’s Rock Hill vs. Chesapeake game at Rock Hill.

Backpack Buddies program coordinator Jodi Hunt said a $5 donation would sponsor a child for an entire weekend.

“We will have a booth set up with pamphlets and information for people,” Hunt said. “This was set up at the last minute so we hope the people in the community take this opportunity to help hungry children have food for the weekends.”
