Bring back our Flo Crow

The smiling red lips, kind blue eyes and waving broomstick arms didn’t quite last a week before someone made off with the pumpkinized version of Flo, the Progressive Insurance mascot.
Employees at Kinder’s Insurance Agency on the corner of South Fourth and Vernon streets arrived to work Thursday to find their Ironton In Bloom fall pot contest entry vandalized, the Flo look-a-like ripped from its place.
“She was beautiful. She looked just like her (Flo),” Amy Patterson, of Kinder’s, said. “We came in and she’s gone. Someone just abducted her.”
Kristi McComas, agent at Kinder’s, created Flo Crow.
The orange pumpkin head was painted white, a blue headband and a mop of black hair added on top. And the recognizable white outfit and apron rounded out the mascot.
“We’re going to put up fliers,” Patterson said. “I just can’t imagine someone coming by there and ripping her out of there.”
The flier is already posted on Kinder’s Facebook page and Patterson said she is hoping Flo Crow will be returned.
As of now, Patterson said she wasn’t sure whether the agency would redecorate the fall pot.
“We’re just afraid to,” she said.
