The Ironton Farmers Market will open at 7 a.m. this Friday and Saturday as planned, but not at the same location.
Market manager Sam Heighton said downtown events scheduled for thus weekend has caused the market to temporarily relocate.
“Due to the Gus Macker 3-on-3 tournament using our usual venue we will relocate for May 16 and 17,” Heighton said. “We will be at the corner lot at Park Avenue and Fourth Street.”
Heighton said the market would feature the same vendors and products as usual.
“Don’t stay away,” he said. “We need your continued support even if the location is a little more inconvenient.”
The market will return to its usual location on Second Street on May 23.
