Triple Crown Beverage Group, owner of Spriggs Distributing in Ironton, is sponsoring three scholarships in conjunction with the Folds of Honor Foundation.

“We are sponsoring three $5,000 scholarships in conjunction with the Folds of Honor Foundation for military families,” Nick Williams, general manager of Triple Brown Beverage Group, said. “The Folds of Honor group will select applicants from our area if we get enough local military men and women to apply online for themselves or their children.”

The Folds of Honor Foundation’s mission is to ensure no family is left behind in the fight to preserve American freedom, according to its website. Through scholarships and other assistance the foundation gives back to spouses and children of soldiers killed or disabled while serving our country.

“We need the local media’s support in getting this message out over the next month,” Williams said.
