Community input, ideas sought
As like-minded residents, business owners and citizen groups continue working to move Ironton forward an information-sharing meeting has been scheduled for Thursday.
The informal meeting’s theme is “DNA: Death to Negative Attitudes.”
“After some lively discussion among some people in the community interested in sharing ideas and working together to improve our community, we want to work together in developing plans and strategies for positive change,” Jon Ferguson, executive director of Ironton aLive, said. “This meeting is for anyone who is interested in offering some expertise and effort to develop these ideas into actions.”
All attendees need to bring, Ferguson said, are ideas and positive attitudes. If several people have similar ideas they will form smaller groups and focus on more specific plans.
“We hope to see a standing-room-only crowd,” Ferguson said.
The meeting is 4:30 Thursday at Buffalo Wild Wings in Ironton.
