Representatives from the Financial Stability Partnership of the River Cities, an initiative of United Way of the River Cities, presented hourly employees at Liebert in Ironton with an update about services available to them.
“The Financial Stability Partnership folks informed (the employees) of the FSP’s mission and also about our free tax preparation services,” Kaylin Adkins, United Way of the River Cities marketing coordinator, said. “This will be a valuable resource for the Ironton community and beyond.”
Liebert employees were also given a crash-course about budgeting, reviewing, credit scores and consumer credit counseling.
“We have a partnership with Liebert already,” Adkins said. “We are just trying to strengthen it.”
FSP representatives met previously with Liebert’s salaried employees, Adkins said.
