Why won’t the post office deliver parcels?

This is in regard to our local post office. Recently I understand they got a new postmaster.
He has decided to no longer deliver packages to apartment buildings for the elderly.
A lot of us do not have transportation and cannot get to the post office. I believe his practice is illegal.
They have accepted postage from the shipper to deliver the package to the address on it.
They say they need more business to make money but they don’t take care of the customers they have.
Please help us old people and call the post office and complain.

Editor’s note: An Ironton Post Office employee said Tuesday the protocol for delivering packages to apartment buildings is to leave the package in the parcel locker of the building. If the locker if full, a notice is left for the customer to pick up the parcel at the post office.
