A Waterloo man who claimed he had no way to get to his probation appointments won’t have to worry about transportation where he’s going.

Dewey McGlone, 36, of 672 County Road 47, made an appearance in Common Pleas Judge D. Scott Bowling’s courtroom Wednesday to answer to community control sanction violations.

According to the Adult Probation Agency, McGlone hadn’t reported to the agency since March 2012.

The man was featured in The Tribune’s Most Wanted list on Oct. 28 and subsequently arrested on Nov. 1. According to the APA, McGlone tested positive for oxycodone and marijuana at the time of his arrest.

Assistant Prosecutor Mike Gleichauf recommended a six-month prison sentence.

Warren Morford, McGlone’s attorney, said living in Waterloo, the man could not get transportation to Ironton or afford to pay others gas money to drive him to town. Morford said a four or five-month sentence would be more appropriate.

“My only concern is, you found enough money to buy oxycodone and marijuana,” Bowling said. “A gallon of gas is cheaper than those things.”

Bowling sentenced the man to six months in prison and ordered that his CCS would be terminated after the sentenced was served.

In a separate case, another probation violator featured in the Most Wanted list was sentenced to prison Wednesday.

Yvette Littlejohn, 29, of 70 Private Drive 302, South Point, was arrested in October after appearing on the Most Wanted list. According to the APA, the woman had not reported to the agency since April 2012.

Bowling sentenced the woman to seven months in prison.

In other cases:

• Willie Abbott, 28, of 1043 Township Road 172 S., Proctorville, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for counts of third-degree having weapons under a disability and fifth-degree trafficking in marijuana. Abbott pleaded guilty to the charges on Oct. 30 in Bowling’s courtroom.

Bowling also sentenced the man to pay a $1,250 fine and suspended his driver’s license.

• Linda Roadcap, 48, of 9024 State Route 775, Scottown, was resentenced and ordered to complete outpatient drug treatment at Mended Reeds. She was discharged from STAR for medical reasons.

“I’m staying home and doing what I’m supposed to,” Roadcap said.

“Continue to do what you are doing as far as staying clean,” Bowling said. “You will leave us few options if you start testing positive.”

• Shane Lemley, 40, of 597 County Road 775, Proctorville, was sentenced to seven months in prison for a charge of fifth-degree theft from the elderly, which he pleaded guilty to on Oct. 30.

• Paul Lowe, 27, of 126 Private Drive 411, Ironton, pleaded guilty to a count of fourth-degree disrupting a public service. A charge of fourth-degree grand theft of a motor vehicle was dismissed.

Bowling sentenced the man to four years CCS under intensive supervised probation and treatment at Spectrum.
