Abandoned animals — End of forestry road 105C, Ironton, 650 ATV trails, Aug. 18, people reported finding dead and malnourished dogs by ATV trail.

Petty theft — 3200 block County Road 12, Proctorville, Aug. 27, TV taken from residence.

Burglary — 1700 block County Road 104, Chesapeake, Sept. 5, laptop and bucket of change taken from residence.

Assault — 1500 block County Road 1, South Point, Sept. 5, woman alleged another woman punched her and took her purse which contained cell phone and cash.

Burglary — 200 block Township Road 616, South Point, Sept. 7, TVs, Playstation 3 with controllers and change taken from residence.

Domestic violence, criminal damaging, disrupting public service — 1100 block County Road 123, Chesapeake, Sept. 7, woman alleged live-in boyfriend punched and head-butted her and broke her cell phone when she tried to call for help; man allegedly broke the tail lights on woman’s car, flattened her tires, threatened to kill her and punched holes in walls of residence; negative contact with suspect at time of the report.

Petty theft — 200 block Township Road 1216, Proctorville, Sept. 8, license plate taken from vehicle.

Burglary — 2400 block County Road 52, Ironton, Sept. 8, door frame damaged on home.

Criminal damaging — 200 block Township Road 1430, South Point, Sept. 9, three tires of vehicle slashed.

Petty theft — 2300 block County Road 181, Ironton, Sept. 9, lawn equipment taken from back yard of residence.
