Greg Wylie and Ralph Smith, members of the Sharon Baptist Church, carry a cross down Fifth Street to the Woodland Cemetery as other church members follow as part of a Good Friday observation this Easter weekend. The church members shared the responsibility of carrying the cross. Steve Harvey, the pastor of the church, said he came up with the idea because his childhood pastor would carry a cross from his church to the cemetery. The annual event is in its seventh year.
