Domestic violence — 400 block County Road 61, Kitts Hill, Feb. 25; woman alleged her ex-husband came to her home. She called her son-in-law who allegedly got into a fight with the man. Mark A. Daniels, 43, of 2202 County Road 55, Ironton, arrested for domestic violence and criminal trespass and taken to jail.

Domestic violence — 60 block Private Drive 11, Township Road 1268, Proctorville, Feb. 25; woman alleged her husband was drinking all day and became verbally abusive to her and their son. Man was arrested and charged with domestic violence. As he was being transported to jail, he complained of chest pains and was taken to a medical facility. A temporary protection order was then issued. While he was at the hospital and subsequently, he allegedly called his wife and then came on their property. Brian T. Johnson, 49, 64 Private Drive 11, Township Road 1268, was arrested for domestic violence and violation of a protection order and taken to jail.

Petty theft – 5800 block County Road 12, Proctorville; Feb. 23; man alleged his sister’s boyfriend stole and pawned tool. Man’s mother-in-law alleged the same man stole a variety of tools, including one worth $300, and jewelry and pawned them. Mitchell K. Mannon, 32, 855 Township Road 225, Scottown, cited for petty theft and theft into Lawrence County Municipal Court and released.
