The Ohio University Southern Art Department is hanging up artwork and putting on the finishing touches for the third annual Tri-State High School Juried Art Exhibition.

The awards ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the OUS Art Gallery in the Dingus Building.

“We have the show to promote all the high school art programs in the region,” Thomas Sutter, art instructor, said. “We solicit invitations to all area schools in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. We had over 125 submissions this year. The students submit their work online. We do all the judging from what they submitted online and then we receive the original art to hang for those selected.”
