McDERMOTT — The mistakes were too much for the Rock Hill Redwomen to overcome.

The Redwomen had too many turnovers in a 65-29 loss to the Northwest Lady Mohawks on Thursday.

“We weren’t very aggressive and we had 20 turnovers in the first half. Our effort wasn’t there. For us to win we have to play together,” said Redwomen coach Greg Damron.

Brook Knipp scored 8 points and Kaci Russell 7 points to lead Rock Hill (3-4).

Darbie Jenkins had 18 points and K’Lee McGlurg hit three 3-pointers and scored 12 points for Northwest (2-4).

Northwest jumped out to a 20-8 first quarter lead and it was 34-16 at the break.
