Two companies looking for workers will hold interview sessions in Ironton this week.

MPW Industrial Services needs employees to perform industrial cleaning, said Jane Lane Craddock, job developer with the Workforce Development Resource Center.

The jobs involve extensive traveling but most work is in Virginia, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio, Mrs. Craddock said.

An interview session is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the workforce development center at 120 N. Second St., Ironton.

Pay is from $8 to $10 per hour. The employer pays for hotel room and gives $12 a day for food expenses. Overtime is paid for work over 40 hours, Most jobs last three to four days. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. Four days paid training is available.

Applied Card Systems of Huntington, W.Va., and Russell, Ky., will interview for customer service representatives and collections workers Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Pay range is $8.40 to $9.25 an hour, with benefits after 90 days.

Applicants should have 60 college semester hours (90 quarter hours), or two years experience in customer service, collections or banking, or a combination of college or work experience, or be a full-time college student. Applicants with some customer service work will be considered.

Candidates must produce evidence of the above and should bring college transcripts or pay stubs. Resumes are helpful.
