Danny White releases his 17 month-old nephew, Michael Unrue, both of Ironton, down a slide at Whitwell Elementary Wednesday while his mother, Tonya, waits to catch him. Mrs. Unrue said they came to the park because it was a pretty day and they wanted to enjoy the sun. Unseasonably warm weather in the region had residents scurrying to get a head start on spring.
