A member of the Decatur Brownie Troop, Geonna Shepard, 7, hands a handmade Valentine’s Day card to Fannie Sanders, a resident of Jo-Lin Health Care Center. The Girl Scout troop, which just formed this year, tries to brighten the days of others in its efforts to teach the necessity of caring about others.
