WILLOW WOOD — If the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings’ defense was a pressure cooker, their opponent must have been well done.

The Lady Vikings used a strong defensive effort and a balanced offense to rout the Sciotoville East Lady Tartans 65-26 Monday in the season opener.

“The girls did a good job pressuring the ball,” said Lady Vikings’ coach Brandon Walker. “We got to show a little depth. All 12 girls played and all 12 contributed.”
