Civil Air Patrol cadet 1st Sgt. William Kuhn passes a flag to cadet Master Sgt. Ryan Pritchard and other cadet members of the Chesapeake Composite Squadron during a ceremony at Crawford Cemetery near Lawrence County Airpark – the squadron’s base. In honor of Memorial Day, cadets placed flags on veterans’ graves that did not have them. The Civil Air Patrol squadron, a civilian auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, holds its cadet program meetings Tuesday evenings at the airport.
