McDonald’s employee robbed at gunpoint

Police looking for suspect

 

Ironton police are looking for an armed robber who held up a McDonald’s employee while that employee was making a night deposit Saturday night.

Acting Police Chief Chris Bowman said the employee told them while he was making the night drop at the City National Bank on Park Avenue, “a white male armed with a handgun approached him and demanded the money.”

According to police reports, the employee complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money. The employee was not injured during the robbery.

Bowman said the suspect is described as a white male, slim build, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweat shirt and face mask.
