IHS play cast ready to raise the curtain

The lines have been rehearsed, the dances choreographed, the props built and the curtain is ready to be raised Friday night in the Ironton High School auditorium.

The lines have been rehearsed, the dances choreographed, the props built and the curtain is ready to be raised Friday night in the Ironton High School auditorium.

The Ironton thespians will present "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying!" this weekend.

The storyline will keep the audience twisting and turning as lead character J. Pierrepont Finch, played by Patrick Milleson, learns business savvy and success through a book.

Finch works his way from a window washer to vice-president of advertising at the World Wide Wicket Company.

At the company, Finch finds love with Rosemary, played by Randa Collins, matches wits with his nemesis Bud Frump, played by Andrew Cronacher and has a wild ride up the corporate ladder.

The play will be presented Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and a Sunday matinee performance will be held at 2 p.m. Reserved seats are being sold for $12.50, adult general admission tickets cost $5 and student tickets are selling for $2.

Parnell; Mr. Bratt – Randy Blair; Mr. Twimble – Ryan Brislin; Bud Trump – Andrew Cronacher; Mr. Womper – Matt Delong; Rosemary Pilkington – Randa Collins; Smitty – Taylor Waldo; Heddy LuRue – Lindsay Anderson; Miss Jones – Rachel Near; Miss Krumholdz – Katie Scherer; T.V. Announcer – Megan Hensley.
