Michael Rosebrough, 411 Etna St., Apt. 3, Ironton, is charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, Sheriff Tim Sexton said.

The specific charge deals with the alleged sell of Oxycontin pills, Sexton said.

Paul F. Anderson II and Paul F. Anderson III, both of 1408 S. Seventh St., Ironton, will also appear in court today, he said. Paul Anderson II is charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs. Paul Anderson III is charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs and two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs.

The suspects were charged as the result of a months-long undercover investigation by the Lawrence Drug Task Force, which led to 10 indictments earlier this month, Sexton said.

To date, five of the suspects have been charged and/or summoned to court, he said.

Sexton added that some of the indictments were a direct result of citizen complaints regarding drug trafficking in local neighborhoods.

The task force encourages people to contact the confidential hotline at 533-5511 and report suspected drug activity in your neighborhood, the sheriff said.

"The task force reminds you we would like to have your information and we do not require your identity," Sexton said. "However, should you wish to leave your name on the recorded line, officers will get back in touch with you."
