Earlier this year, South Point High School art students visited a local museum. Now, they would like to invite the public to visit their own museum of sorts at the second annual Art Fair Friday at the school.

Hosted by the Art Honors club, the exhibition will display about 60 pieces of student art in a variety of mediums from 9:30 a.m until 1 p.m. in the library/media center.

Works include photographs, ceramics, sculptures, paintings, drawings and more. Several pieces of art have won awards in regional competitions, art teacher Rebecca Pulliam said.

"I think the students are really looking forward to it. They did it last year, so they know what to expect,"

she said. "It gives them a chance to show their work to everyone else in the school who may not know what we do in these classes.

"Everyone should come and see the fair because they will be very impressed," she said. "They can see how talented and creative these students are."
