Signal replacement project slated for State Route 7 project in Proctorville

PROCTORVILLE- Con-tractors for the State Route 7 widening in Proctorville will be replacing a traffic signal in the village this week in conjunction with the ongoing major reconstruction project.

Tomorrow crews from TAB Construction will replace the traffic signal at the intersection of state Route 7 and Thomas Street in Proctorville. The work is expected to begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue through the morning hours. While the crews are working at the site, two-way traffic will be maintained by flaggers; however, motorists are advised of temporary lane restrictions and periodic traffic delays.

Throughout the month of May, the contractors will be working in the project zone during daytime, business hours to complete embankment and cut-out work for the construction of a temporary roadway.
