Ohio Valley Conference

The Ohio Valley Conference boys and girls basketball previews will be held at Rock Hill High School.

The girls will be Monday, Nov. 24, and the boys Friday, Nov. 28. Each night begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $4.

The first game is Chesapeake and South Point, followed by Fairland and River Valley and then Coal Grove versus Rock Hill.

All-OVC awards will be presented between the second and third games. Those making all-conference in volleyball, girls and boys cross country, football and golf will be honored at this time.

Southern Ohio Conference

The Southern Ohio Conference girls basketball preview will be held Saturday at Portsmouth Clay High School. Here is the schedule:

5 p.m. Northwest vs. New Boston; 5:30 Notre Dame vs. Portsmouth West; 6 p.m. Western vs. Minford; 6:30 p.m. Symmes Valley vs. Lucasville Valley; 7 p.m. Portsmouth Clay vs. Waverly; 7:30 p.m. Beaver Eastern vs. Oak Hill; 8 p.m. Green vs. Wheelersburg; 8:30 p.m. Sciotoville East vs. South Webster.

The boys preview will be Friday, Nov. 28, at Northwest High School. Here is the schedule:

5 p.m. Sciotoville East vs. South Webster; 5:30 Green vs. Wheelersburg; 6 p.m. Beaver Eastern vs. Oak Hill; 6:30 p.m. Portsmouth Clay vs. Waverly; 7 p.m. Symmes Valley vs. Lucasville Valley; 7:30 p.m. Western vs. Minford; 8 p.m. Northwest vs. New Boston; 8:30 p.m. Notre Dame vs. Portsmouth West.

Each game consists of two eight-minute quarters. Admission is at the door.
