McCormack to play VFW Saturday

Local country music recording artist Lee McCormack has been living the Nashville dream.
The Ironton native is currently in Nashville recording his second album,
the follow up to his successful debut, "Open Road."
To celebrate the event, McCormack and his band, Open Road, will perform at VFW Post 8850, beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday.
His fan club is going to be auctioning off several items, including a dinner with McCormack. Other items to be auctioned off include a drum head, a backdrop and some of McCormack's other items. There is also going to be several raffles such as an Easter basket for the children, a one-of-a-kind "Leeaster basket" for the adults, a dance with McCormack and Open Road and more.
This is a family oriented event and
food and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.
The concert will be in the banquet room at the VFW, 3026 S. Third St., Ironton. Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission is $5 for adults, $2.50 for children ages 6-12 and children 6 and under will be admitted free of charge. Family rates will be available at the door.
