The annual Ironton Easter egg hunt, sponsored by the Ironton Business Association and the Ironton Fire Department, is set for 6 p.m. today at the Ironton soccer field across from the Liebert Corporation on South Seventh Street.

The egg hunt is normally on the Fourth Street side of the Lawrence County Courthouse lawn but county officials told organizers the courthouse lawn is not available this year so the event was moved.

More than a thousand eggs will hidden; some bearing treats.

The Easter Bunny will visit, riding in on the back of an Ironton fire truck.
