Prowler — South Fifth and Spruce streets, 4:32 a.m. Tuesday, subject ran off, negative contact.
Trouble — 900 block South Ninth Street, 9:52 a.m. Tuesday, woman alleged people locked her out of her house, requested officer, all parties advised.
Theft — 400 block Vernon Street, 1:08 p.m. Tuesday, cash stolen from office, info taken for report.
Dog call — 500 block Etna Street, 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, puppy left in front of house, taken to pound.
Fire call — 800 block North Fifth Street, 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, caller reported smoke in the area, EMS notified.
Hit/Skip — Park Avenue Speedway, 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, information taken for report.
Domestic — 2700 block South Eighth Street, 11:39 a.m. Wednesday, woman alleged boyfriend beat her up and tore out the phone lines, information taken for report.
Stolen bike — Ohio University Southern, 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, logged only.
Harassment — No location given, 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, woman alleged ex-employer following her and making threats, logged information.
Family trouble — 1200 block South Eighth Street, 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, woman alleged daughter is making threats to kill her and burn her house down, logged only at this time.
Suicide attempt — 1100 block South Eighth Street, 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, man barricaded himself in bathroom with razor blade and threatened to kill himself, subject en route to King’s Daughters Medical Center.
Coal Grove police
Possession of drugs, domestic violence — 100 block Ridgeway Street, 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, during argument, man allegedly pulled wife by hair and threw her to ground, six Xanex pills found in his pocket, Kyle Koenig, 23, 102 Ridgeway Street, Coal Grove, arrested.
Breaking and entering — 100 block Main Street, 2:25 a.m. March 23, unknown subjects trying to steal batteries from garage and vehicles, two males, one a juvenile, found in nearby area and admitted to the crime, juvenile taken to detention center, Larry Chin, 24, 94 Private Drive 954, Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.
Theft — 100 block Main Street, 5:30 a.m. March 21, new uninstalled air condition unit taken.
Vandalism — Tri State Industries, 8 a.m. March 22, four women reported cars had been keyed, no witnesses.
Violate protection order or consent agreement — 100 block Rosebud Street, 12 p.m. March 21, woman alleged ex-husband pulled into her driveway and yelled at her, unable to locate.
Assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, tampering with evidence — Marion Pike, 11:42 p.m. March 19, suspicious man walking in road, ran when officer began to search him, allegedly pushed officer violently, man found during search of surrounding area, James Cremeans, Jr., 38, 1205 Township Road 268, Ironton, arrested.
Grand Theft — 100 block Lane Street, 2 a.m. March 4, 2008 Kia Rio stolen, Jesika Arden, 34, 1107 Lorain Street, Ironton, arrested.
