PROCTORVILLE — The Fairland High School track coaches and several accomplished local runners are inviting all community members to attend a training class for the second annual Run for the Dragons 5K.
“We want to provide an opportunity for our community to come together and improve their health,” said Chuck Wentz, Fairland cross country and assistant track coach.
“This class has been developed to include everyone , even those who have never ran to people who have ran many races.”
The scheduled runs will be at 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and at 9 a.m. on Saturdays.
“I am sure that some runners will want to meet and run at other times. We can iron out those details after we get started,” said Wentz.
The second annual Run for the Dragons will be held on Saturday, June 30. Class fee is $30 and includes entry into the Run for the Dragons 5K and a race T-shirt.
