FRANKLIN FURNACE - It just wasn't a good night for the Green Lady Bobcats.

The Lady Bobcats had trouble on offense, defense and at the foul line as they lost 36-33 to the East Lady Tartans Monday in a Southern Ohio Conference game.

"It was kind of a sluggish game and we didn't do a lot very well," Green coach Melissa Knapp said.

The offenses were sluggish from the outset. Green led 6-5 after the first quarter and East was up 15-13 at the half.

Both teams had 8 points in the third quarter and it was 23-21.

Leigh Ann Williams

scored 7 of her points in the fourth quarter for Green, but Bridgette Baer had 8 points as East held on for the win.

"We couldn't stop Baer in the fourth quarter and we couldn't hit our free throws and that was the difference," Knapp said.

Elista Hall had 12 points and Williams 9 to lead Green (7-6, 4-4).
