BURLINGTON — Pizza anyone? Even if the answer is no, Monty’s Original Pizza and South Point Freezette have a little bit of everything on their menu.

The restaurants are located at 47 Township Road 1429 — beside CCX Trucking on Sandusky Road — in

Burlington, though they have a South Point mailing address. The restaurant has been open for about seven weeks. It is owned by Larry Wood and Freddie Hayes.

“We are growing every day. We can see it,” manager Dianna Conley said.

The restaurant has a varied selection on their menu including Monty’s Original Recipe pizza and ice cream. They also have a variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, spaghetti and side orders. There is also a children’s menu for their younger clients.

“We are putting in a buffet next week,” Conley said. “We are looking forward to getting that started.”

Sometime after the first of the year they plan to also have breakfast items as well, she said.

Delivery is available to all of South Point, Burlington and as far as the Citgo Station on Rockwood Avenue in Chesapeake.

Customers can also dine inside the restaurant which is equipped with booths, tables and some games for the youth to play.

A new jukebox is also on the wall full of songs.

“It is really a nice setup,” she said of the dining facility.

Monty’s Original Pizza and South Point Freezette is open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon until 9 p.m. on Sunday.

The phone number for Monty’s is (740) 894-0404.

“We would like to invite the community to come and see us and dine in,” Conley said. “We would also like to thank all of our current customers.”
