“We played good defense again. We’re not scoring a lot of runs,” coach Mary Harper said.

Rock Hill took a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

Bobbi Harper reached on an error, Katrina Settle singled, the runners moved up on the return throw from the outfield, and Shelli Harper had a two-run single.

The lead went to 3-0 in the third inning. Settle walked, stole second base, went to third when Candice Chaffins reached on an error and scored on a wild pitch.

The final run scored in the fifth inning when Settle singled, Shelli Harper had a sacrifice bunt that sent Settle to third base and Chaffins hit a sacrifice fly.

Rock Hill, 8-4 and 3-2 in the OVC, plays at Greenup County, Ky., Tuesday.
