At a special meeting of the Ironton City Council on Wednesday, a few changes to the budget were approved.
The changes include $300,000 needed for a sludge press that the city had purchased, and placing the $100,000 that the city needed to purchase the former National Guard Armory into the budget.
The budget had been scheduled for a vote during last Thursday’s meeting, but as it had not been recommended by the city finance committee, voting was put on hold until this week.
The finance committee also held a special meeting this week to recommend the changes.
The votes for both were unanimous.
