The school system worked with the Ironton Police Department, Lawrence Count y Sheriff’s Office, Ironton Fire Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, who also brought in bomb sniffing dogs, and the Department of Homeland Security to investigate the situation.
The suspect has been pin pointed, but no other information is being made public at this time.
“Yes. I was given a specific name but do not feel authorized to release it,” Nance said.
All organizations are working together to resume normalcy.
“We will clear the building and school will resume tomorrow,” Nance said.
