Third and Center is excited to announce the Trash Bash Community Cleanup, a day dedicated to beautifying the local environment and celebrating Earth Day.

Local volunteers, civic organizations and community members are invited to join the nonprofit on Saturday, from 9 a.m.-noon at the Ironton Riverfront, located at 111 Center Street.

This group said the event is a opportunity for individuals and groups to take action in preserving and enhancing the community’s natural beauty. Participants will help clean up the riverfront and city parks, making a positive impact on our shared spaces.

All cleanup supplies will be provided, and as a token of the group’s appreciation, volunteers will be treated to a free lunch.

“Earth Day is a perfect occasion for our community to come together and show our commitment to a cleaner, greener Ironton,” James Gordon, chair at Third and Center, said. “We encourage everyone, especially students looking to earn community service hours, to join us for this fun and meaningful event.”
