Donna Cochran

April 17, 1954–April 18, 2024

Donna Jean Cochran, 71, of Patriot, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 18, 2025, at her residence.

The Ironton, Ohio native was born April 17, 1954, the daughter, of Freda (Asbury) Ross, of Patriot, and the late Freddie Ross.

Donna was also preceded by her loving husband on Aug. 5, 2010, Donald Raymond Cochran whom she married on March 30, 1974.

Donna was a graduate of Symmes Valley High School.

She retired after 40+ years as a motor tester for ElectroCraft.

She was a loving mother and grandmother; she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was a member of Old Baptist Church and attended Trinity Freewill Baptist Church in Fairview in Willow Wood.

In addition to husband and father, she was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Raymond Cochran, Jr.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Dustin R. (Barbara) Cochran, of Wellston; three brothers, Robert (Teresa) Ross, Larry Ross and Michael Ross; six grandchildren, Izabella Plybon-Cochran, Dustin Cochran, II, Anastasia Cochran, Brennon Cochran, Donald Cochran, III and Jewel Cochran; including several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Aid Cemetery with Pastor Gordon Simpson officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5–7 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton.
