FRANKLIN FURNACE — Gabe Blevins is a one-hit wonder.
Now, that’s not to say Blevins will have only one well-pitched game this season.
Bevins had a well-pitched game on Tuesday as he one-hit the Beaver Eastern Eagles 10-0 in a 5-inning run rule game
Blevins struck out 7 and did not issue a walk as he threw just 66 pitches, 44 for strikes.
Green (4-1) had just 4 hits but parlayed them with 5 Eastern errors to get the easy win. Jon Knapp was 2-3 with a double and 4 runs batted in. Landon Kimbler and Noah McMackin each went 1-3.
Green took a 2-0 lead in the first inning and Knapp doubled home a run in the second inning as the lead went to 4-0.
The Bobcats used a big 6-run third inning to build a 10-0 lead.
Riddick Jenkins was hit by a pitch, Kimbler doubled home 2 runs, Mason Neal grounded out to drive in a run and Knapp singled home 2 more runs.
Declan Davis was 1-2 as he got the only hit for Eastern (1-3).
