WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Dave Taylor, R-Ohio, voted this week to pass a Continuing Resolution to keep the federal government open.
The resolution passed in a 217-213 vote, mostly along party lines, with Republicans in favor.
Taylor issued the following statement today after the House of Representatives passed a Continuing Resolution to keep the federal government open:
“I am proud to join President Trump and Republicans to deliver on the mandate given to them by the American people by voting to keep the government open for business,” Taylor said in a statement following the vote. “Republicans are keeping our government funding at its current level while clearing a path to accomplish President Trump’s agenda of lowering costs, securing the border, and cutting taxes for hardworking American families.”
Taylor represents Ohio’s second Congressional district, which includes Lawrence County.
