Carl Franklin Tordiff, 73, of Coal Grove, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025.
He was born May 25, 1951, in Ironton, to his late parents, John “Jack” Tordiff and Lolita Cronacher Tordiff.
Carl was a 1971 graduate of Ironton High School and was a member of Central Christian Church in Ironton.
He was a former employee of Community Action Organization.
Carl was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was watching his favorite westerns, sitting on his porch enjoying the outdoors or taking walks with his beloved dogs.
Carl was especially fond of spending time with all of his nieces and nephews, who he called his “little buddies”.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Ashley (Jeannine) Tordiff, of Ironton, and John Tordiff, of Coal Grove; his sister, Donita (Paul) McMackin, of Coal Grove; nieces, Laura (David) Hankins, of Ironton, Devin (Ryan) Harmon, of Ironton, Kelli (Ron) Wooten, of Coal Grove; great-nephews, Jonah (Katie) Cox, of Ironton, Logan (Savannah) Hankins, of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Owen Hankins of Ironton; great-nieces; Lola Hankins, Jolee Hankins, Hadley Harmon, all of Ironton; great-great-nephew, Brodee Cox, of Ironton; great-great-nieces; Brynlee Cox, of Ironton, and Quinn Hankins, of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Funeral service will be noon Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with David Hankins officiating.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
